The Pierce County Environmental Health Indicators Project participants want to better understand and communicate important environmental conditions in Pierce County.
The Indicators Project brought together agency and community members to decide what environmental conditions and other information to include in the Pierce County Environmental Health Trends report. The report describes policy and personal actions that can help improve environmental health. Staff share the report with other agency and community members at quarterly public forums, meetings and other events.
The Indicators Project also produces environmental health indicators in the areas of Land and Food, Water, and Waste and Hazardous Waste.
