Project Description

The City of Surrey is currently developing sustainability indicators to help measure progress on becoming a more sustainable City. The indicators and targets are a critical task from the Surrey Sustainability Charter, and will help operationalize and monitor the Charter's vision, goals and actions. To help develop the indicators and targets, the City has brought together a community Task Force representing a variety of interests. A draft list of indicators has been brought to City Council for information. It is expected that a final list will be brought for approval in Fall 2010, with initial reporting on indicator results in 2011.
