CIC-sponsored coffee-break webinars

Better knowledge of each other’s accomplishments and structure allows members of the community indicators world to learn about each other and be in a better position to view each other as a source of inspiration and ideas. We are proposing a presentation framework that offers a wide glimpse at an indicator projects from a technical and administrative perspective without placing an undue burden on the presenting organization. The target audience for this short webinar is peer organizations from the community indicators field.

Presentation Guidelines

10-15 slides – 20 min. presentation to address the following areas:

  • Geographical coverage, including geopolitical and demographic information
  • Origins and evolution of the project
  • Mission, emphasis, focus
  • Organizational sponsor / internal structure / sources of funding
  • Type and extent of public involvement
  • Indicator selection process
  • 1-3 most influential indicators
  • Stakeholder reporting process
  • Other activities based on indicators, if any
  • Key accomplishments
  • Contact information

Note that a survey will open for participants right after the presentation concludes and will allow them to write any questions they may have for the presenter. We will email you those questions after the presentation. The responses you choose to give will be added to the project information page in the CIC project database and emailed to the participants.

We use Citrix GoTo Webinars to present and invite you to join the presentation as a panelist. The presentation is done from your own computer and you can use your computer microphone or call in. You will receive instructions on how to share your screen and connect via audio soon after your date is confirmed. See Citrix’s 3-minute tutorial for panelists below.
