Peekaboo The Data Can See You:

Identifying Vulnerable Populations Hiding in Plain Sight

CIC hosted its annual Impact Summit, virtually, in November 2021 with several keynotes and panels discussing Community Indicators for Change: Responding, Rebuilding, and Advancing Equity. This month’s CIC coffee break rebroadcasts a keynote from the conference by Rhonda Vonshay Sharpe, President, Women’s Institute for Science, Equity and Race (WISER). Dr. Sharpe’s presentation discusses how large data sets don’t always reflect the true impacts and experiences of marginalized populations and how we can overcome these data challenges.
