In his presentation on “Indicators of Inclusive Growth,” Jeff Aguy of NCXT & 2043 SBC reviews a range of traditional and innovative indicators of economic growth and inclusion, including the limitations of traditional indicators. The Rockefeller Foundation, “Inclusive Economy Indicators,” provides an array of innovative indicators, focusing on the characteristics of participation, equity, growth, stability, and sustainability. Using this report, community indicators project leaders can identify a range of data sources and methods to understand, measure, and evaluate economic opportunity and wellbeing for an entire community that go beyond a top-line GDP or unemployment number.
