The Urban Institute’s Data Science team is hiring a data science fellow for a one-year assignment funded through a partnership with the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. The data science fellow will report directly to the chief data scientist, and work in collaboration with the managing director of an Urban Institute initiative to explore ways that the private sector and local leaders can harness technology and innovation to advance mobility, equity, and inclusion in cities. The fellow will work at the intersection of data science, technology and public policy to create new datasets, produce novel analyses, advise researchers and project staff, and publish materials within the initiative’s topic areas.
