This second of three webinars with financial support from Environment and Climate Change Canada will explore the topic of transportation and its role in promoting sustainable urban environments. Transportation, both public and private, plays an increasingly important role in the sustainability of our urban environments. With high rates of urbanization and sprawling metropolises, our modal choices have significant environmental, social, and economic impacts. This second CSIN webinar examines how we can promote sustainable transportation by encouraging sustainable commuting patterns and explores how new methods are being used to identify opportunities for more efficient and convenient public transit systems.
