The Boston Foundation coordinates the Boston Indicators Project, in partnership with the City of Boston and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council. The project tracks indicators in ten sectors: Civic Vitality, Cultural Life and the Arts, the Economy, Housing, Education, Health, Public Safety, the Environment, Transportation, and Technology. The project has recently released a report in 2009 summarizing Boston indicators, entitled “A Great Reckoning: Healing a Growing Divide.”
