Calgary’s Vital Signs® marked a ten-year milestone in 2016. For the past decade, the report has featured expert research combined with the results of a citizen survey, where Calgarians assign grades in areas critical to quality of life. In 2017, Calgary’s Vital Signs will focus on five priority areas:
These five priority areas have been identified by the Calgary Foundation as issues that require enhanced leadership and support in the coming years. Survey results will be incorporated into the full Calgary’s Vital Signs report, released on October 3, 2017.
The Calgary Foundation launched Calgary’s Vital Signs in 2007 to:
*increase the effectiveness of the Foundation’s grantmaking
*better inform our donors about issues and opportunities
*spark discussion, encourage connections and inspire action
