Description

The Center for Houston’s Future Community Indicators serve as the region’s report card on achieving a balance between the social, environmental and economic factors necessary to maintain a competitive and sustainable place in the 21st century.

To be included, an issue must be community-wide in scope, impact, and how it is best addressed. We target associated metrics that can be tracked over time and compared to a national standard or other regions.

Community Indicators make quality of place a tangible and measurable issue through ongoing data studies and analysis, peer-reviewed reports, and year-round community engagement on key topics.
