The Citizen Engagement PACT is an organizational evolution of The Jacksonville Community Council Inc. (JCCI). The Citizen Engagement PACT of Jacksonville will ensure the values that foster a culture of civic engagement to improve the quality of life for all citizens will continue to be engrained in the Northeast Florida community.
JCCI published their Quality of Life Progress Report for 30 years. This indicator project looked at indicators across 10 target areas in Jacksonville, Florida and used a community-driven process to present an annual call-to-action to Jacksonville’s residents, organizations, businesses, and elected officials.
JCCI also provided consulting services to municipalities and organizations working with community indicators, helping them garner meaningful public input, relevant research and effective implementation of their projects. According to the Citizen Engagement Pact, JCCI was the world’s first community indicators project. JCCI was one of the founding members of the Community Indicators Consortium.
