Description

Metro Outlook focuses on the economic competitiveness of the Kansas City Region. It relies on information from earlier reports to create a set of measurable goals that would foster regions that could compete in the global marketplace. The report creates a model to show what qualities of a metropolitan area most attract, and retain, talented and economically competitive citizens. The types of indicator areas focused on in the report are more unconventional and narrow than other projects: Inherent Attractiveness of Place, Social Cohesion, Strategic Decision Making Capacity, Institutional Performance, Human Capacity, Economic Competitiveness, and Efficient Use of Resources.
