The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) developed Measures of Australia’s Progress (MAP) to explore how the inter-relating aspects of economy, society and environment impact on our progress as a nation. Responding to the question, ‘Is life in Australia getting better?’ Map Australia’s Progress provides a digestible selection of statistical evidence that enables Australians to form their own view of how our country is fairing.
