Description

North Dakota Compass is a social indicators project that measures progress in our state, its eight regions, 53 counties, four Native American reservations, and larger cities. North Dakota Compass tracks long-range trends and provides analysis in topic areas, including aging, children and youth, civic engagement, early childhood, economy and workforce, education, environment, health, and housing. It also provides extensive demographic information and highlights the issue of disparities in North Dakota. North Dakota Compass gives everyone in North Dakota – policymakers, business and community leaders, and concerned individuals – a common foundation to identify, understand, and act on community issues that affect their communities.
