Pike County Community Health Partnership was a group of organizations, agencies, and individuals working collaboratively to strengthen the health and wellness of Pike County residents by creating new programs and enhancing existing health services and programs. As a result of needs identified in a 2008 Community Needs Assessment, the Partnership focused on the following priorities:
1. Coordinate and facilitate collaboration to address health and wellness disparities, promote efficient use of resources, and expand funding opportunities.
2. Increase awareness, understanding, and availability of and access to health and wellness programs and services for all residents of Pike County.
3. Emphasize and encourage prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyles to achieve optimal health.
4. Facilitate ongoing review of county-wide health needs and identification of priorities and strategies to work towards improved health and wellness outcomes.
