Truckee Meadows Tomorrow (TMT) is an independent, non-profit organization that has engaged the northern Nevada community over two decades to identify a value system of measurable and actionable indicators to monitor the community’s success at preserving and enhancing quality of life. TMT currently tracks 33 indicators across 10 quality of life categories, updating more than 200 data measures on its Web site, publishing indicator briefings, and comprehensive “Well-Being Reports,” which also show the average citizen steps they can take to improve the measurable results of specific areas of concern. TMT also works with business and community leaders, local governments, educators and other nonprofits to identify collaborative opportunities to create positive community change through its Adopt an Indicator and Quality of Life Compacts programs.
