Abstract: The Wellington region GPI (WR-GPI) is a monitoring framework for assessing progress towards the well-being goals of the WRS. The monitoring framework currently includes 86 indicators of wellbeing which span four aspects of well-being – economic, environmental, social and cultural. This Wellington region GPI report tracks the current condition (for the 2010 year) and trends (2001-2010) in 83 of the indicators of well-being included in the monitoring framework (information for three indicators is currently not available), providing a snapshot of the Wellington region’s overall state of well-being. It also provides Wellington residents with a high level profile of the region’s well-being and how it is tracking over time from 2001 to 2010.
